This course will provide an introduction to all aspects of wetlands including occurrence, morphology, hydrology, soils, ecology, and regulation.  The primary goal is to focus on the relationship between forest management and wildlife, fisheries, and wetlands management.

Conservation Easements for Forest Landowners and their Advisers September 19-20, 2017

The objective is to provide guidance for attendees in reaching a sustainable agreement for protecting forest land. A framework is offered for analyzing protection goals for reaching a successful agreement in the context of legal constraints and tax incentives.
